Character Origins[]

Before George Tarleton became M.O.D.O.K., he was a scientist of average intelligence. He was working on an experiment to unlock mental potential for A.I.M. (Advanced Idea Mechanics). Somehow he became the next test subject and became M.O.D.O.C., or the Mental Organism Designed Only for Computing. Tarleton would eventually overthrow A.I.M. and go on to be a major problem for the likes of Captain America, S.H.I.E.L.D., Iron Man, and Namor the Sub-Mariner.

Background[]

Evil Intent[]

"Eradicate the online warriors. Otherwise, no deal."

During the cursed disc incident, M.O.D.O.K. allied himself with Albert Wesker, who was supposed to gather combat data on the Nemesis T-Type and kill Max and Doom. M.O.D.O.K. left Wesker a voicemail detailing the mission, which proved to be its undoing as Doom heard the voicemail and trapped Wesker in the video game for some time. M.O.D.O.K.'s pursuit of the Nemesis combat data afterwards has not yet been acknowledged.

Hiring Deadpool[]

M.O.D.O.K. later hired Deadpool via a contract hidden on a speech bubble, ordering the mercenary to kill Max. However, Deadpool was tricked by Wesker into blowing himself up, turning M.O.D.O.K.'s plans around on him once more.

Dirty Work[]

M.O.D.O.K. is known to have allied himself with Taskmaster and Deadpool to make another attempt to kill the Online Warriors. It was later revealed that he's only interested in capturing Doctor Doom, when Albert Wesker appears to help out Doctor Doom and Strider Hiryu, he is shot by Wesker which incapacitates him. Later on he recovers enough to rejoin the fight, only to be shot repeatedly by Deadpool who believed that Strider would dodge his machine gun fire.

His reasons for wanting just Doctor Doom remain unknown.

Live-Action Appearances[]

Abilities and Skills[]

Though a supposed super-genius and master of psionics, M.O.D.O.K. was easily dispatched by a single bullet from Wesker's handgun and later further damaged by a barrage of machingun fire from Deadpool, revealing his pitiful durability.
