Ammy is Max's pet dog, who has served as a recurring mascot of the Assist Me! series technically since before it existed. Ammy was featured in one of the first "skits" in Max's series "Marvel Vs. Capcom 3: The Online Warrior" before Assist Me! type episodes were part of the lineup.
Ammy has appeared many times, and is usually unaffected by the going-ons in Max's home. She has shown aggression towards many of the characters, but seems to get along fine with X-23. It is currently unknown if Ammy is an actual embodiment of Amaterasu, or if she is, as Max puts it, "just a dog."
Trivia[]
- The dog that portrays Ammy really is Max's pet, but is not a female. Benny is a purebred male Pomeranian.
- Max sees Ammy "as a dog". This is a nod to the game "Ōkami" itself, where most Human NPCs see Amaterasu as a plain white wolf.
- Doctor Doom has been known to steal her treats and eat her food, as "Ultimate Assist Me! Episode 4" would seem to indicate. Much to her anger and Phoenix Wrights confusion.
